About eMPF
The eMPF is a new administration platform that makes it easier to manage Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) accounts online in Hong Kong. It centralizes MPF schemes’ administrative processes into one platform for scheme members, employers, and self-employed persons. Developed by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA), eMPF is designed to digitalize MPF management, making it more transparent and easier to use.

The Pension Schemes Association (PSA) fully supports the eMPF launch. We believe it will enhance how MPF accounts are managed, making MPF management more efficient and user-friendly. We are working closely with MPFA and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to the eMPF for everyone.

When will the eMPF Platform be available?
The eMPF platform targets to achieve full operation in 2025, via a phased rollout starting from June 2024. All MPF schemes will be onboarded in batches gradually, while members and employers will be notified on how to prepare for the transition by their respective MPF provider(s) 2-3 months before their respective scheme(s) is/are onboarded.
